Familiar taste, ‘Wolsu Geumhwamokto’ [Should I see it?]
Actor Park Min-young has returned to the genre she is most familiar with. It’s a taste you know right from the start. It’s obvious but still delicious tvN’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Mon-Wednesday, Gold-Tuesday, Mok-Sat’.
‘Monsu-Geumhwa-Mok-Sat’ is a romantic comedy drama about a woman who chooses a contract marriage for a perfect non-marriage, a long-term customer on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and a new customer on Hwa-Mok-Sat. Park Min-young, Go Kyung-pyo, and Kim Jae-young appear.
The first episode was filled with character introductions. Choi Sang-eun (Park Min-young) lives with Woo Kwang-nam (Kang Hyeong-seok), whom she met while working on her contract marriage. He pays off all the debt he owes to Madame Yu (Jin Kyung).
Who raised him in the past with the money he has accumulated while working for 13 years. Choi Sang-eun, who has decided to retire, has concerns. He couldn’t say goodbye to long-term customer Jung Ji-ho (Kyung-pyo Ko), who had been with him on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings for 5 years. Unexpectedly, Choi Jeong-eun, who is sad, first informs her of the divorce.
On the other hand, popular actor Kang Hae-jin (Kim Jae-young) cannot forget Choi Sang-eun, whom he met by chance in the past. In the second half of the play, Hae-jin Kang moved to the villa where Jung Ji-ho lived and foretold a meeting with Choi Sang-eun.
It’s a classic romantic comedy with a unique setting. It’s closer to Park Min-young’s one-man show. From the first episode, she represents the perfect female image, boasting a variety of styling from fluent foreign language skills. A large amount of narration is also digested to fit the play. A little tired, but not annoying. Go Kyung-pyo and Kim Jae-young show different charms.
When I see Go Kyung-pyo, who faithfully expresses a perfect but arrogant man, I think of SBS ‘Incarnation of Jealousy’, where he appeared in the past. Kim Jae-young gives fun as a sensible character that is completely different from his previous work, JTBC’s ‘People Like You’. Kang Hyung-seok, Park Min-young’s best friend, adds flavor to the play and plays an outstanding role. Jinkyung shows an impressive presence even with a brief appearance.
The directing ability of director Nam Sung-woo is also worth seeing. MBC’s ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo’ and ‘Kkondae Intern’, tvN’s ‘Because
This Is My First Life’ and ‘Cohabiting with Falling Lives’ showed a lively sense of wit, so ‘Mon, Wed, Gold, T. In the second episode, the romance of Choi Sang-eun, who is aware of her feelings for Jung Ji-ho, will be drawn in earnest. The first episode recorded 4% of the nationwide paid households by Nielsen Korea. The highest viewership rating at the moment is 4.5%.
who like Park Min-young’s romantic comedy drama, ‘Mon-Wed-Geum, Tue, Mok-Sat’ is a good option. I recommend ‘Mon-Wed-Geum-Tue-Mok-Sat’ to viewers who easily fall into love triangle romance.
who are tired of seeing the perfect woman that the broadcasting media are aiming for are better off looking at other works. As the main character’s job is close to a daily trophy wife, excessively decorated appearances are poured out.
