Opened New Balance MADE pop-up store, Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam

New Balance, a global sports brand, announced on the 22nd that it has opened a ‘New Balance MADE Pop-up Store’ in the Gangnam branch of Shinsegae Department Store.
The New Balance MADE pop-up store opened on the 20th can be found at ‘The Stage‘ on the first floor of the Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch until the 25th. The pop-up store is a space to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the launch of New Balance’s flagship 990 model. This space is the most intensive space in the Gangnam branch of Shinsegae Department Store, the largest department store in Korea, and is mainly a space where luxury brands develop pop-up stores. It is unusual for a sports brand to develop a pop-up store on its own.
New Balance’s 990 model, which is also the theme of the pop-up store, means 990 out of 1000 points, and is produced by hand in the United States based on New Balance’s craftsmanship. Since its first release in 1982, it has been shown to be a more complete product by supplementing functions and design through continuous upgrades.
The pop-up store was designed by Teddy Santis, director of the New Balance sneaker premium line ‘MADE IN USA’, with the motif of a vintage classic mood mansion lounge in the 90s New York background.
In particular, Teddy Santis’ collaboration models 990 V1, V2, V3 to MADE IN USA/UK line can all be found in one place, and you can experience the essence of MADE IN USA and UK classic heritage.
In addition, various events such as the release of new products such as 990GR1, 990BK1, and 992GR through a raffle will be held.
